Basement Renovation / Finishing

A basement is a great area to create your own personal paradise for those relaxing moments. It is a large, naturally quiet, private room.  Where building a home addition would require you to extend the foundation, plumbing, wiring and your heating and cooling ducts, your basement will already be equipped.  This means that you can spend your money on having a basement renovation contractor beautify and customize your existing room instead.  You can easly turn your newly created living space into a children’s play area, a home gym, a guest room, an in-law suite, a home theatre, a family room, a home office, a wet bar, or a game room with a pool table. You can even add a private spa.
Functional Living Spaces
This basement was created as a family room/playroom area connected to the rest of the house by a staircase. The owners wanted to be able to watch their small children playing there. For that reason, we removed a wall between the kitchen and basement and installed a beautiful staircase with a cast iron railing.

We further divided the remainder of the basement into one bedroom (to be used as a guest room), a laundry room, and a bathroom. We framed the walls, installed drywall and doors, prepared the surfaces for painting, and painted the entire area.

We installed laminate flooring with underlayment for additional insulation, and built the bathroom. We connected all appliances in the bathroom and laundry room. We built a custom shelving system in the laundry room for that much-needed storage space.

Personalized Oasis

This basement was created to be a quiet and peaceful space to spend those relaxing moments by the fire. The basement consists of a recreation area, one bathroom, and a laundry room.

We renovated and painted the staircase, and framed, drywalled, and painted the walls. We installed tiles in the hallway, bathroom, and laundry room. We installed laminate flooring with undercoating to add extra warmth in the recreation room. We added pot lights and baseboards.

We connected a toilet and vanity in the bathroom as well as a washer and dryer in the laundry room.

Many relaxing moments have been spent there since, and our happy clients have stayed in touch and recommended us to their friends. A job well done!
